Bluezepp's Story
Bluezepp Italians originally began in
1986 with Kemisa Sir Ecco and Kemisa Kissme Kate followed by Alhaja Miss
Issippi and Clanmac Heza Dreamer in 1987. Ecco was only shown sparingly. Ecco
was mated to Ippi and they produced Bluezepp Sir Galahad, Bluezepp Sir Lancelot
and Bluezepp Snowcrest. Due to my circumstances changing these pups were never
shown. Apart from Snow who went to a pet home, all my
other dogs lived with me into old age.
In 1988 I began endurance
riding which I did for the next 10 years competing in 80km and 160km
rides. Endurance riding keeps you very fit and you get to see a lot of the
Australian countryside. I still own 4 Arabians with my 1st horse I competed on
turning 24 this year.(2005)
My endurance
riding is now on hold at the moment and I can now return to my other love,
Italian Greyhounds. In 2001 Mrs Gwendoline Letzer of Galig Italian
Greyhounds allowed me to purchase two girls,
Galig Bright Seraphim
(Amy) & Ch Galig Momento Maestoso
(Tess). Both Gwendoline and Barbara Skilton helped me with a few
showing techniques and we were back in the ring again.
I didn't
start showing Tess until she was 12 months old. Tess achieved her Australian Championship
title on the 4th September, 2004. She is my first
Australian Champion. See Babies page for link to Tess's
first litter in 2005.
Amy has
been desexed and is a very intelligent loyal companion. We have even
tried our hand at a bit of agility, which she enjoyed as long as there weren't
too many big dogs there. Mind you her best friend at agility was an Old
English Sheepdog. Both girls have tried lure cursing. Even though they are quite
keen to chase my many cats if they walk past the fence, they weren't
overly keen on the lure, looking skyward as the lure went whizzing by. Oh well,
you can't be perfect at everything you try.
This year (2004) Anu
Lummevaara of Berizza Italian Greyhounds kindly allowed me to show
Berizza
Under Tuscan Sun. "Tiga" was born on 17.1.04 and he is a very ,
very outgoing Iggy. He thinks nothing of going up to the biggest dogs at
the shows to say hello and is everyone's best friend, always on the lookout for
someone to play with.

his 1st day here)
Claire Needham of Shantiah
Italian Greyhounds has also allowed me to show one of her precious dogs.
Shantiah Wildest Dreams.
"Pearl" will be spending the next 12 months (2004)
with me. Pearl has always been a favourite of mine and I am very grateful to
Claire for entrusting her to me. Pearl was born on 6.6.03 and she has settled in
really well with the rest of the kids, spending most of her time playing
chasings with Tiga. In 2005 Tiga was mated to Pearl - see
Babies page for link to photos.
